Lynn A. Durning, Director
Lynn Durning is senior vice president and regional manager for the Chicago office of Wells Fargo HSBC Trade Bank. The Trade Bank, an equity joint venture between Wells Fargo and the HSBC Group, is the only nationally chartered bank in the United States dedicated exclusively to international trade.
Previously, Lynn served as vice president and head of the international finance division of a major super-regional bank in Chicago. This group specialized in providing financial solutions for domestic companies conducting trade and international transactions and for U.S. subsidiaries of foreign-headquartered companies. She has held progressively more responsible positions during her 19 years in banking, including 12 years with a Canadian-based financial services company. Her experience includes managing relationships in the automotive, food and beverage, forest products and diversified sectors of several large multinational financial institutions.
A native of Canada, Lynn was raised in Montreal, Quebec. She earned a bachelor's degree in commerce with a concentration in marketing and management policy from McGill University, and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. She currently serves on the board of the British American Business Counsel of Chicago, the International Trade Association of Greater Chicago and the Japan American Society.
Lynn is married with two children and has lived in the Chicago area for 13 years.
