Alan D. Kinsler, Immediate Past President
Alan D. Kinsler has a wealth of international business development experience involving various regions including Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. The scope of his activities range from identifying and qualifying joint-venture candidates in Mexico and the Peoples Republic of China to the rationalization and reorganization of capital goods distribution networks while living as an expatriate in Latin America. He continues to develop country-specific sales and marketing programs utilizing both a representative and distributor framework for industrial products in his current capacity as Director of International Sales with Sellstrom Manufacturing Company in Palatine, Illinois. Mr. Kinsler has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from Ball State University and is an Air Force Veteran. Alan has been active since 1985 and served two terms as President of the ITA/GC. In addition, he is a member of the Illinois District Export Council, which is charged by the Department of Commerce to contribute leadership and business experience in support of the Nation's joint industry/government export expansion effort.
